This book was an amazing story for the journey, it had great examples of the man chararstics of the journey the hero takes " ordinary world", "call to adventure" and "refusal of call".
Sammie's life has hit an all-time low. Her parents are splitting up and her mom is dragging her from her comfortable suburban home to a cramped Manhattan apartment. Not to mention that her chest is the size of a mountain range, she's never had a boyfriend, and her gorgeous best friend constantly complains about her own overactive love life.
As Sammie's summer gets underway, she struggles with feelings of hurt and anger. But over the sweltering months, she makes new friends, learns some hard truths about her parents, and realises that the cute guy she's known since childhood might actually be interested in her.
